Nice product. Had some glitches with the original firmware but after upgrade to 1.0.3 all is fine. Running as thread router - much better coverage than my previous solution. Wireguard is a great addition allowing me to add my second house without having a second home automation controller at that site.

Terrible experience! I replaced my Dongle-E with Dongle-M thinking it would improve my Zigbee network, but the result was the opposite. All devices in the network experienced a significant drop in LQI signal. Before replacement, all devices had a signal strength of over 150 lqi. After the exchange, everyone fell below that (and several are below 50 lqi). An absurd situation, considering that one of the promises of the product would be precisely to improve the signal by having a better antenna. I tested using both TCP and USB connectivity and the result was the same. In other words, the problem lies with the product and not with the connection method. To change dongles, I had to repair all my devices. To go back to the old way, I will have to repeat the work. I do not recommend. Very expensive and with disappointing results. Use Dongle-E which is more reliable.

I bought it to use at home. It works really well with Home Assistant. I'm using it directly via RJ45. Easy to set up, easy to use. The signal is also good.
